Julie Muren, from Jersey, is our new advisor for parents with abducted children. Our parent’s network has so far consisted only of Norwegian parents, but we are seeing a growing need for counseling also for foreign parents with children abducted to Norway.

Many believe that Norwegian authorities have high regards and respect for international conventions in child abduction cases, but this is unfortunately not the case. Julie has experienced the Norwegian injustice when her children were taken to Norway and she butted heads in the wall of incomprehension from the judiciary and bureaucracy.
